Hours of Idleness-A Photographer's Journey in St. Louis

A Friday Photograph or Two

Posted in photography by Jason Gray on September 11, 2009

Well, I don’t really have much new art to share because 1. I have six rolls of film that I need to develop, and 2. the project that I am working on involves nudity, so showing progress shots is a bit out of the question. Anyway, I thought I’d share a couple of sort of art-ish pictures that I snapped recently. The one above is an outtake from a wedding that I shot last weekend, and features my wife, who always comes up with instinctively wonderful poses, even when I am just testing my lighting. The one after the jump is a b/w of a flower.

Both Nikon D300 with either the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 or the Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 Lens attached.
