Hours of Idleness-A Photographer's Journey in St. Louis

St. Louis Zoo

Posted in photography by Jason Gray on November 24, 2009

I’ve wrote before about the St. Louis Zoo. It is truly amazing how much there is to see and do there for free! The Zoo has long been a favorite place of mine to go and relax.  This zoo has some of the most naturalistic animal enclosures that I have ever observed, and it has successful breeding and wildlife assimilation programs.

I shot these on a hot summer day with a Nikon N65, Nikkor 28-80mm f/3.3-5.6G Lens and Fuji Superia 400ISO Film.

The St. Louis Zoo is unique in that it houses some fantastic architecture.

What an interesting moment!

This one wasn’t in a cage!
