The International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum will feature Street Photography from February 7th to April 27th, 2014. The main show is called, Decisive Moments: 20th Century Street Photography Prints from St. Louis Collections, and will include works from such notable artists as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Walker Evans, André Kertész and many more.

I have curated two exhibitions for the Museum that will parallel the main show, and the first, Anna Kuperberg’s South Side, opens on February 7th. Readers may already be familiar with Anna’s work from a recent HOI post comparing her work to Lewis Hines’.

My second exhibition will open on March 7th, and includes recognizable artists like Yvette Drury Dubinsky (showing two images never before exhibited), Sam Fentress, and the late Bob Reuter. Several Photo Flood Saint Louis members are likewise featured. This exhibition is entitled, St. Louis Shoots: Contemporary Street Photographers from St. Louis.

A Street Photography show of this size is a very exciting opportunity for St. Louis. I hope that you will all come out to attend the openings, see some amazing work, and support friends.
